Conclusion: Digital Manufacturing Course and Coursework An Instrumental Course For Industry 4.0

Updated: May 19, 2022

Amongst other courses in my Engineering Smart System M.Sc. year at the Manchester Metropolitan University, the Digital Manufacturing course was one of my favourites. Taken under Carl Diver's I can say he and his colleagues did a great job in not only teaching my colleagues and me about the digital manufacturing world and its importance in the current industry 4.0 but also propelling us to practicalize a real-world scenario and generating results in that regards.

As is evident in this blog section, I was able to not only hone my IT skills in CAD modelling, acquire the plant simulation skill using Tecnomatix that can help me in virtually commissioning a production plant or any process that has to deal with flows (input and output), perform 3D printing and 3D Scanning but I was also able to improve my writing skills by doing the course work on a blog, which I must say was challenging at first because I had never written one.

In general, I believe I had a great time in this course and I know it has greatly added to my personal IT development arming me with further skills and knowledge to emerge into both the digital industry and additive manufacturing industry.

I would love to use this opportunity to thank my lecturers for their tutelage and ever listening ears which were instrumental to the success of the course for me.
I also would love to thank my readers who have been one of my greatest motivations for writing this blog

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
